On Tuesday October 4, 2022, our team of dealers was invited to come and discover the Piveteau production plant, in Sainte-Florence in Vendée.
Partner of Déco Charpente for ten years, Piveteau is a French manufacturer of wood solutions for construction andlandscaping.
In order to design our shelters, we supply ourselves with structural products from Piveteau : battens, frames, laminated wood, etc. Indeed, we attach great importance to selecting high quality materials to offer the best to our customers.
During this visit, our team was able to discover the sawmill. The stages of woodworking were also presented to them: supply, sawing, drying, gluing unit, planing and finishing.
An immersion in the heart of wood, which allowed us to learn more about the art of transforming it.
Piveteau, unique know-how
Since 1948, Piveteau favors local species from eco-certified forests PEFC And FSC. At Déco Charpente, we use spruce and Douglas fir in particular for the manufacturing of our frames.
The resource is valued in its entirety to limit waste and preserve the environment.
Piveteau also obtained the wood label from France which guarantees that 80 % of its wood comes from of the French forests.
